This December we had our annual lock in, this year held at Sportrock Climbing Center.
The scouts ate pizza, and then climbed and bouldered until midnight. After midnight the
scouts played board games, video games, and hung out. We wrapped up with a light
breakfast and went home.
The December 2nd meeting was an AOL night with fried oreos and games.
At the December 9th meeting we had our annual white elephant gift exchange with an
ugly sweater contest and a game. The most popular gift in the exchange appeared to be
the nerf gun, and Alex E. won the ugly sweater contest with a light-up sweater.
On December 16th we had our winter Court of Honor, followed by a Christmas treat
exchange with a theme of each scout’s cultural heritage. At the Court of Honor, 16 Merit
Badges awarded, and Craig C. was awarded the Scout Spirit coin.
