In the month of January, Scouts participated in the Annual Inventory Day and the Winter sports trip. This month was tons of fun for Scouts and adults. First, the Annual Inventory day. Scouts came to Annandale Methodist Church to clean and organize all of the gear that the troop has used. The Scouts cleaned the gear well and the troop will be thankful for what these Scouts have done.
Next, the Winter sports trip. This campout was a 4 day, 3 night campout. On the first day, scouts moved into the log cabin. They settled in with their roommates and played some board games. On the second day, some Scouts woke up early to make breakfast for everybody. After breakfast, Scouts went skiing at Massanutten. Some Scouts went snowboarding instead. Then on the penultimate day, Scouts went tubing in the morning with their friends. After that, they went to a waterpark. Scouts had an exciting time. At the end of the day, scouts went to go skating. On the final day, Scouts packed up all of their stuff and had to say goodbye to the cabin.
