Turtle Express: March 2026

On March 2nd, the troop had a meeting and after the meeting we had an Eagle Court of Honour for Tyler Perez.

On March 9th, we had a troop meeting where we had 3 stations. We did a stretcher race, silent tent setup, and a game. And on the 15th, Scouts welcomed new scouts from Pack 1533. On the 16th, due to tornado watches and severe thunderstorm warnings, the troop decided to hold an online meeting where Scouts planned meals for the upcoming Richmond Battlefield campout. On this campout, our troop went to Richmond National Battlefield Park. While we were there, we took a tour and learned about what happened during the battles and why it was important. It was interesting to see the actual places where history happened.

We also did a fun cooking challenge where each patrol had to use a mystery ingredient in their dinner. It made cooking more exciting and kind of difficult, but everyone worked together and came up with some really creative meals.

Overall, the campout was a fun experience. We learned new things, worked as a team, and had a good time.

In summary, this month proved to be successful for our troop since we were active, learned many new things, and enjoyed ourselves. We excitedly await the following month and what we will be doing there.
